Class Glog

Week #4 Learning the Four Language Skills Needed to Learn a Language

Objectives:

1. Identify activities that can be used in the classroom for the following skills:
Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing
2. Develop one activity for each skill that would work best with adults in your classroom.
3. Demonstrate the activity to the class on March 20, 2010

Introduction:

In this class we have reviewed so many different ways of teaching adults. Teaching adults is different than teaching children. In the class of Week #3, which was online, you were able to view some of the games used in the adult ESL class. You were able to design your own games. This week we will be learning how to use specific tasks and games for teaching the four language skills needed to learn a language. Please complete the activities and readings before our class on March 20, 2010. Please let me know if you have any questions.
